About
Listen closely.
Then publish the take.
Hakkan comes from the Japanese 発刊: to publish, to bring a work into the world.
Said aloud, it echoes “harken”, an old word for listening closely. That is the whole product in one word. Hakkan listens to the real conversation across social and the web, then helps you publish the take worth listening to, in your own voice.
Why provenance is the product.
Most AI writing tools hand you fluent text from nowhere. It sounds confident, and you have no way to check it. For anyone building a reputation on what they publish, that is a risk, not a shortcut. Hakkan takes the opposite bet.

A real report. Every finding carries the sources it came from, and you can open any of them.
Receipts, not vibes
Every claim in a report links to a real post, comment, or article. If we cannot show you where it came from, we do not print it.
Facts apart from feelings
What the data says and what people feel are two different questions. We keep them separate, then show you the gap. That gap is usually the story.
Your voice, not ours
The content is built from your writing and grounded in the sources, never invented. It should sound like you, because it is.

A note from the maker
Hakkan is an independent product, built by one person who spends a lot of time researching and publishing. I wanted a tool that did the reading for me without ever putting words in my mouth, or claims in my posts I could not back up. So I made it, and I use it every week.
